This Privacy Policy describes how WheelDeck ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use wheeldeck.com (the "Site").

Information We Collect

Automatically collected information. Like most websites, our hosting provider may collect standard server log data, including your IP address, browser type, referring URL, pages visited, and the date and time of your visit. This information is used for security and to understand aggregate traffic patterns. We do not use this data to identify individual users.

Tire size inputs. The tire size values you enter into our calculators are processed entirely in your browser using JavaScript. We do not transmit these values to any server or store them anywhere outside your own device.

Unit preference. When you select inches or millimeters, that preference is saved in your browser's localStorage under the key wd_unit. This data stays on your device and is never sent to us.

Location detection. On your first visit, we make a request to ipapi.co to determine your country so we can default to the appropriate unit system (inches for US, millimeters elsewhere). This is a one-time request. ipapi.co's privacy policy governs how they handle that data. After the first visit, your saved preference is used instead.

Cookies

We do not set first-party cookies ourselves. The only browser storage we set directly is localStorage for your unit preference, which stays on your device and is never sent to us. However, third-party services on this site (see below) may set their own cookies. You can manage or clear cookies at any time via your browser settings.

Advertising

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on this site. Google AdSense uses cookies (such as the DSID and IDE cookies) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the internet.

You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Alternatively, you can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info/choices.

• ipapi.co — one-time country detection on first visit to set the default unit system.

We do not sell or trade personal information. We have no user accounts and no database of user data. Data may be shared with Google solely in the context of advertising as described in the Advertising section above.

Children's Privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
